ABC Bartending Schools has a Columbus bartending school and is the largest privately owned bartending school system in the United States.  Tony Sylvester has owned bartending schools and has been placing bartenders nationwide for more than 30 years.  Bartenders are known for their ability to make great money while meeting new people and having lots of fun at their jobs.  Look around you at the number of liquor serving establishments and the number of bartenders (full-time and part time) that it takes to staff these establishments.

Ben has been a English teacher in the Massachusetts school system and has taught bartending at community colleges in the Boston area. Ben has also bartended at some of the nations finest bars.

Ben's combined background of teaching and bartending makes him one of the areas top mixologists. Previously, Ben was also a finalist for the "Instructor of the Year" award which is given to the best instructor in the nation.

Ben's positive attitude towards his students and his dedication to their success makes him stand alone in his field. His commitment to excellence and great training ensures plenty of bartending jobs following completion of the course.

Health and Safety / Legal Responsibilities (certification)

Students will learn the legal responsibilities, health and safety concerns of the workplace. Certification is also available.

Cash Register Procedures and Cash Handling

In this part of the bartending course students will learn to correctly operate a cash register and credit card authorization machine. They will also learn the correct methods of managing cash.

Resumes and Interviewing Techniques

You will learn successful interviewing for a bartending position. Students are trained on how to fill out an application, resume preparation, and how to dress and respond to interview questions.
